The expedition staff were all super professional and top in their field. They were very personable as well. It was nice to have the option to snowshoe on one day and go out on the science boat on another. I think it would be helpful to have a variety of options (kayaking snowshoeing) for all visitors on each excursion so that people can get a taste of all different aspects of the continent. I understand this may be difficult to train all passengers for kayaking though. Each excursion was outstanding. Some of the hiking over the rocks was a bit difficult, and we were not totally informed of that. My favorite parts were snowshoeing with the smaller more intimate group and seeing the penguins and landscapes from mountain tops.

I would definitely recommend our ship. I also loved seeing the icebergs- that was probably my favorite part. The food and our cabin was amazing. The service staff were amazing as well. We had a really wonderful time. So glad we flew! We had one rough night at sea and couldn’t imagine going through the Drake passage on the boat. :) Thanks for all your help!
