What was your most memorable moment?
Our most memorable moment was when we crossed the Antarctic Circle and then found a landing site where we could play like kids in the snow.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The excursions were many and of different types and some with landings. The most memorable was the one where we landed on a "flat" block of ice.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team were knowledgeable and professional and friendly and most helpful at all times. The expedition leader, Danny, was wonderful.
Tell us about the Seaventure
We really had no expectations. However, the ship was all that one might expect. The cabin was spacious with a window that we could even take photos through. The housekeeping staff were exceptional and prompt in all tasks. The food was plentiful, varied, and delicious. It was fun to try dishes that we had never had before and found it was good (at least as cooked by the crew on the ship). The serving staff were professional, friendly, and attentive to all our needs and learned what we generally always had.
Something Else?
This was an awesome trip to a location that we never thought of visiting but are glad that we did. We would recommend Swoop and Polar Latitudes to any who might ask.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Swoop was great with recommendations. However, I would add that "normal" clothes would be okay aboard the ship. All the underlayers and waterproof pants and gloves are definitely needed for the zodiac cruises and the landings. We are glad that we did the trip. However, there are many more places to visit before we would consider a return to Antarctica. If we do decide to return, we would hands down use Swoop.
