Kayaking at glacier graveyard, WHALES, silence moments then hearing glacier calving and avalanched with resultant waves, time to observe the personality of gentoos, the wealth of knowledge/professionalism/and down to Earth staff

Jakub, Steffi, and Elizabeth stood out to me for the professionalism, down to earth nature, and wealth of knowledge. I enjoyed seeing them geek out about glaciers and whales and it made me want to know more about their subjects.
Tell us about the Plancius
Excellent food choices. Maria was fun to talk to every night and I enjoyed seeing her birthday dance for guests. I would book this trip again!

Have the cold weather clothing lecture on the 1st or 2nd night instead of the end of the trip. Have weather posted on the TV. Announce The Drake waves for passengers that are journaling. In safety briefing, announce to avoid showering during the Drake to reduce risk of falls and subsequent trip cancellation.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt 100% prepared and it still feels surreal.
