What was your most memorable moment?
Touching down on the main continent. I had only dreamed we'd maybe get to touch down perhaps once, but the incredible expedition team and crew were able to get us down 3 times! I was blown away, and was very impressed and pleased by how the teams worked hard to make that dream happen.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
While clothing lists are helpful, each person will be different in what they need to wear and on what days. Some days we needed hiking poles and googles, other days you could rely on your puffy jacket and thermal underwear to get by. Pack flexibly, and be okay with overbuying (at least overbuying in terms of everything on the packing lists your guides recommend) even if you don't use all of it. You'll thank yourself later that you had it all!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
This trip definitely gave me more insights into the intricate ecosystem of Antarctica that I had no idea about. It made me understand impacts into how weather and wildlife is affected by our every day, and really opened my eyes to a different perspective of how that part of the world operates.

No notes. Every bit was great!
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Incredibly prepared, or dare I say overprepared! I felt really in touch with all of the teams, and the packing lists, guides, and downloadable itineraries made planning for me easy.
