Every day brought a new highlight - tagging the Minke whale, seeing a baby king penguin creep out from under his mom, watching other penguin chicks being fed, seeing an iceberg calve...so much. Everyone on the cruise was quite friendly.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
Loved it and yes, it exceeded our expectations

The service provided by Swoop was perfect. We booked late in the game, but ended up, in my opinion, on the best ship with the best staff in a perfectly located cabin. John helped every step of the way and guided us beautifully. We couldn't have asked for more.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Book with Swoop and the ship operator they recommend. The Akademik Ioffe was excellent with a superb staff and crew.
