What was your most memorable moment?
Sailing into a bay with massive mountains surrounding us almost completely. The scale was so incomprehensible.

Tell us about the expedition team
Absolutely loved the expedition team. They all were so knowledgeable and friendly. Hannah’s enthusiasm is unmatched. Tracy’s excitement was invigorating. Bex’s eagerness was infectious.
Tell us about the Seaventure
The captain on our voyage did such a fantastic job of keeping everyone safe and happy. We left a day early to avoid a storm and he still tried to find alternative locations to explore. I really appreciated his care.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
The weather down there changes so fast. Bring layers, even down to a t shirt. Be ready for your plans to change at a moments notice. Spend as much time outside as you can, you never know when nature will do her thing.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Team was amazing. If I could book another cruise with all of them on it, I would.

How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Because Antarctica is so unknown it’s hard to feel prepared. It’s not like you could look up the 3 day forecast. Despite not being prepared I was beyond excited.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It’s hard to believe Antarctica is part of our planet earth.
