Daughter has a real (doctor proscribed) gluten intolerance. Noted on pre-cruise input. In Puenta Arenas she asked whether gluten free snacks would be available (or should she buy them and carry them herself) and was reassured they were. The first few meals on board, great for me, not a single gluten free entree available. Mentioned it to a staff person. Told it would be fixed. No change, at one point told to just eat fruit. Finally I asked to speak to 'someone in charge', and suddenly all changed, they were solicitous and allowed her to order a gluten free menu and had more gluten free stuff out. Should not have gotten this far.
