What was your most memorable moment?
All of it...the guides were amazing, the food was awesome, the crew that kept everything clean were great, as well as the servers for the meals. The lectures put on by the guides helped to understand the fragile ecosystem on the continent. Most memorable was the kayaking....

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiac excursions let you see the icebergs up close and personal, amazing to see the different no one alike structures. Safety from boarding to getting back on the ship was amazingly simple....never felt like like it wasn't safe.
Tell us about the expedition team
The guides were awesome...really enjoyed Jess'es lecture on whales. All of the lecture were funny and upbeat....really enjoyable....
Tell us about the Hondius
The cabin was always clean, the food was excellent, and yes I would choose the Hondius and recommend to anyone planning on going to Antarctica.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Get to Argentina or Chile at least a few days early. I had 2 cancelled flights in a row, and 3 hours late on the 3rd flight. I lost sight seeing time in Argentina and regretted that I didn't give myself more days.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes....Antarctica is fragile and should always be ruled by science, not by countries that will exploit and destroy.
