Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Do not skip South Georgia! Antarctica is not the place where you see wildlife in crazy numbers, the large colonies of penguins is a sight you only see in South georgia (for king penguins mostly).. do your research depending on your interests and decide whether to just do Antarctica or the longer circuit!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Everything was amazing, and it is just great that all this support comes for free! 1 think I would recommend when selling this specific itinerary as part of the guidance you provide: maybe need to emphasize the fact that the water in the southern ocean everywhere is/can be rough, and not just Drake!! So for this expedition, we had sea sickness between evey 2 stops, overall 4 streches..This is to mentally prepare people but also for people who tend to get very sea sick, maybe this is a factor that could make them opt for an expedition to the Antarctic peninsula only instead.
