Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Enjoyed them immensely. An Antarctic trip would not be anything like the same without them. Most memorable was being surrounded by humpback whales
Tell us about the expedition team
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Every single presentation was captivating. Favourite lecture was Paul Hart talking about the Belgique expedition.
Tell us about the Seaventure
It was first class, enjoyed everything about it. Perfect size, good public rooms. Cabin comfortable, nice picture window. I would choose it again, although having been on the PL website I rather fancy the Ocean Albatros !
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
You don't need to be a professional photographer to take stunning pictures. Because you get up close to wildlife a phone camera is all you really need. Make sure you take all the zodiac Trips and attend all the lectures, you won't be disappointed.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. I have returned as an "Antarctic Ambassador". It has opened my eyes to climate issues.
