Comfortable cabin, excellent food. Would definitely choose this ship again.

Hannah Johns was truly extraordinary. Her sense of humor, depth of knowledge, and warmth were inspiring. Tracy Allen's edifying lectures were always filled with contagious enthusiasm. Nate's summaries and outlooks for the following day aways kept us abreast of what to expect.
Were Swoop right to recommend Polar Latitudes?
Yes

Zodiac excursions were always interesting. There was always more to learn about what we were seeing. Always felt safe.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Highly recommend scopalamine patches to prevent seasickness. Bring cosmetics in Dopp kits rather than hanging cases.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
My experience reinforced that imperative of preserving the ecology of our planet.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Pretty well prepared.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The voices with accents on the educational video feeds prior to departure were not always clearly understandable. The issues were partly the accents and partly the lack of a good connection on their part. I suggest using better microphones.
