The ship, the food, the crew, the fellow passengers, the daily agenda on and off the ship (and a stretch of good weather) made this trip not only informative but totally enjoyable!
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
An extraordinary trip so unique hard to have had expectations. It was like leaving the planet. Given the issue of climate change, being in an area on the planet so obviously impacted and provided the scientific information being now gathered there, this trip could not have been more well-timed for me.
