Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't visit just to check off the "final continent," or to "see it before it all melts." Antarctica deserves a lot more respect than that. It's an indescribable place and it's important to understand that the polar regions are currently the ones most vulnerable to climate change, and that we are drastically losing more and more of it with each passing day. Visit. Let it change your life. Then think and act on how you can make the world a better place so that sights like these may remain for others to enjoy.
Would you consider another trip to Antarctica with Swoop?
Yes
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really. I've always loved the polar regions. This has only made me love it more.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Better explanation about the itinerary and that it WILL change, and that everything, including the availability of optional activities that can be signed up for (kayaking/camping) is subject to the weather.
