Tell us about the expedition team
They were very helpful but leader made a comment suggesting we were sick of seeing penguins and that’s what we came for. Personally I came for the ice not the penguins so not impressed.

Very unhappy with lack of itinerary. Im aware that any itinerary is problematic but there should still be one with a note it is likely to change rather than only being told each evening where we were going next day. Not enough communication about why we stayed so long below the Antarctica circle and why we couldn’t go to places like Deception Island that I know other ships went to
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
They shouldn’t go. Too many people going now. 6 years ago when I went 50k people went now 100k people going. This is too many and numbers per year need to be cut back as has happened in the Artic region

Yes as mentioned above there are too many ships going to Antarctica now
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Don’t promote Antarctica concentrate on other tourist destinations
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very prepared especially as I had been before. Poseidon online information very out of date and needs updating. It’s full of irrelevant information and I took along things I didn’t need to because it was out of date
