Sara, Pippa, and the entire team were FANTASTIC. They were friendly, approachable, knowledgable and always available. Their personalities made the trip even more enjoyable.

I knew that this was an "Expedition" journey and not a "Luxury" trip, but the staff was friendly, helpful, and took care of my every need. They made me feel special throughout the trip.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Read all the information provided by Swoops. It made me better prepared and the trip stress free.

Seeing the Antarctic was magical, but it reminded me of how important it is to protect this very special place.

How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Because of the Swoop team and their attention to detail, I was prepared. As for my excitement, it really did not hit me until I was aboard the Ortelius, when I could exhale and just be in the moment. My excitement level did not hit a 10 until it was confirmed that we were cleared to visit Snow Hill Island.
