Excellent ship. First class service. Modern design. Wonderful captain who knew how to maximize the capabilities of the ship while going through ice fields.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
When it comes to packing, less is more. Silver Sea provided everything we needed - boots, parka, mid layer down jacket, and water proof pants. You truly only need to bring clothes for the ship and a few pairs of warm-underlayers. No need to bring your own boots, parkas, or rain gear.
