Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Super safe feeling. I have done lots of rib work and these people were really expert drivers.
Tell us about the expedition team
Uniformly excellent at pulling together and making a superb experience for us. They demonstrated expertise, shared knowledge willingly, worked around weather.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Cabin was fine, no worries at all. The housekeeping staff were friendly and flexible. Food was really good, loved the choice of full or light lunch. Would use Seaventure again, no problem.
Tell us about the Paddling
The location was hard to beat, but I had to share a boat with an unknown as we both ended up as singles on our Zodiac. She didn't really put much effort in and I had to effectively paddle for both of us. Would have been happier on my own.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I planned on having to use different gear gor morning and afternoon outings. This wasn't necessary and I found I overpacked outdoor gear and underpacked on the sea time clothes

Appreciate the richness of the wildlife in a new way.
