Whaler's Bay was the highlight.

Fabulous trip, staff and crew were great, food was super.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
The voyage was great except for a couple of rough day on the way back across the Drake Passage.

You chose a/an Onto the Antarctic Ice experience. How was that experience?
The trip was more than expected. The staff and crew of the Ortelius were excellent and well prepared for all eventualities. Fine people to work with.
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
For the most part they went well, except air travel arrangements made tours impossible. The hotel accommodations were excellent. Swoop staff worked well to fix a broken system.
How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
Zodiac trips to stations and stops were great, as were the tours around bays. Going around ice bergs and ice flows was amazing. Seeing the penguins and seals up close was a sight to see. The expedition staff were truly knowledgeable.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't over pack the clothes.
