Perfect for a photog like me... making it just 4 that can shoot would have been ideal

Good planning and gorgeous locations

Perfect size ship... big enough but small enough... no issues with it and felt more comfortable knowing it was reinforced for ice because conditions there can change on a dime
Tell us about the Kayaking
Didn't do it because as a photog it would have just been too high of a risk for the reward... zodiak was tons safer and easier to utilize

Crew peeps were very friendly and very professional always going the extra mile... like (because I am always late) I showed up for breakfast at 8:01 and all i wanted was eggs and they made me a plate of eggs real quick (those were the best eggs on the trip too lol)
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
1)double check the dates the ship leaves and returns to plan for luggage 2) if someone is a photog, make sure they know there are the zodiaks to shoot from whereas kayak is not really designed for a photog 3)make sure folks know that if the airlines destroy your bags that you DON'T LEAVE the baggage claim area AT ALL even to go look for airline reps because that gets them off the hook... Aerlineas Argentinas destroyed my checked suitcase and no one at the baggage claim so I went in search of someone and they lamely used that as an excuse to not help me... even though they could see security footage of where I went -- this is more of a "hey if something goes wrong in transit" kind of FAQ answer
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Better appreciation for the way nature is dependent on its existing intricacies... people suck and ruin everything
