Greg MortimerWhat was your most memorable moment?
Kayaking through brash ice onto an ice floe, jumping from ice floe to ice floe and suddenly an Adelie penguin popping up to see what we are doing in his/territory!
Which of the following best describes your adventure?
Great holiday
On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend or colleague?
10 out of 10
Tell us about the wildlife
The penguins, especially the Adelie were adorable. The seals were magnificent and plentiful. The expedition staff were always very careful to ensure we did not disturb the wildlife. Seeing animals and birds from the kayak was just the most perfect experience - felt we were part of it all. Didn't see as many whales as we had hoped but, hey, that's safari!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Go with an open mind. Don't get too hung up if the sky isn't blue every day - mist and clouds can be just as magical. Definitely do the "polar plunge" - invigorating and exciting , especially under the Circle!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Much more clued-up on climate change
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
No recommendations - you are the best! Felt well looked-after. Keep up the good work.
