PlanciusOverall, how was your trip?
Too many things to mention. Kayaking through brash ice, over shadowed by 100 ft icebergs, the brilliance and purity of the light and air. The topogrophy was breathaking, very emotional, calm and inspiring.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
I felt deeply honoured to stand on Natarctica.I felt an insignificant spec on a landscape so white n pure, i was very humbled the environment.

Swoop,s service was exemplary, the whole process was seemless and i would highly recommnd your service to everyone.

How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
My only negative comment where that there were too many zodiac landings just to snowshoe or look at gentu penquins..after the first 3/4 times it got very boring and im sure other activities could be found arranged.
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
I arranged all my own travel arrangements before disembarkation and post trip.
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to Antarctica, and what tips would you pass on?
Cabin was clean, upkeep was exceptional. Food was pletiful although the selection of desserts could have been more varied. Having Cheese n biscuits on four evenings after a long day of excursions left me needing a sugar rush. The Plancius was excellent, lots of space but the internet was appalling, very expensive and for most of the trip useless. I wish id known how little access there was and i would have brought an external drive to store videos and pictures. The internet needs to be seriously looked at.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Be prepared to be amazed. Dont overpack, the equipment list was extensive but i didnt use half of the clothes i brought. Bring plenty of storage/ capacity on phone or camera.
