PlanciusWhat was your most memorable moment?
The entire adventure was amazing, I could literally highlight all the activities one by one. The crew was fun and extremely helpful, the food and the services were excellent and every little thing on the ship was designed to make sure that we had the time of our lives. What did I love the most? The animals for sure! I wanted to snuggle up with those curvy seals that always had a smile on their faces and I had a hard time not to hug those clumsy little penguins always curiously staring at us. Seeing a whale made us run to the windows or out to the deck every single time, even on the last day, even if it was 6 am in the morning and we wore nothing but our pyjamas under our coat. Last, but definitely not least, Antarctica is the cupid in my life's love story. My boyfriend had never heard of anyone dreaming about Antarctica before but wanted to get on board. One thing led to another and we suddenly were not only planning the trip but were also falling in love. My best and dearest memories would already tie me to this amazing continent but in Neko Harbour he also proposed to me making this journey truly unforgettable.

Tell us about the wildlife
The absolute BEST! It is touching how trusting they are with humans. I loved all of them, the lazy seals, the otherwordly whales and the cute cute cute penguins. I was depressed to leave them behind. Oh and yeah, photographer paradise!
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I felt safe all the time, all drivers were excellent. The most memorable one? It is especially beautiful in the icy areas where seals chill on the ice.
Tell us about the expedition team
They were always helpful and professional. They always had interesting facts about the wildlife up in their sleeves and made extra effort to help us get to see everything we wanted.
Tell us about the Plancius
I love the Plancius. I was nervous about the trip because I often get seasick but Plancius was my home and helped me get over this fear. I would definitely choose the Plancius again. Food was also great, and the Hotel Manager was exceptionally nice and helpful.
Tell us about {area.title}
This section is not entirely clear to me, it says 'area.title'. If you refer to the Basecamp trip then it is, without questions, the best choice. Many activities, chance to see everything.

Hide your camera if it rains, it can be a bit smelly!

I had already believed in preserving nature, the trip strengthened my belief.
