Life before Swoop
With over 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, I've been fortunate to explore more than 25 countries across six continents.
When I’m not helping people plan polar trips, you can find me cycling, climbing Munros (high Scottish mountains) or kayaking on remote lochs.
I loved the diversity of landscapes in the polar regions
My top 5 polar highlights
- Spotting seven polar bears in their natural habitat. A thrill beyond words – I felt so lucky
- Observing a vast colony of walruses, hundreds of them huddled together in their natural environment, grunting and sliding into the water
- Watching in awe from a zodiac boat as the enormous Monacobreen Glacier fractured and calved off an iceberg, creating a massive splash and sending a shockwave into the water
- Hiking through the Texas Bar landing, where Arctic foxes and reindeer blended seamlessly into the rugged wilderness
- Falling in love with the diversity of landscapes. The pristine wilderness and untouched, rugged terrain felt like stepping into a completely different world

How I can help you
The longer I spend in the travel industry, the more my enthusiasm for connecting with people and discovering new places grows. I find nothing more rewarding than working in a field I love and helping you plan polar adventures.
