In the zodiac looking at photo opportunities with Kyle, our ship's photographer, and he shut down the engine and asked us to simply listen and absorb the beauty of the surroundings and the quiet.

There were several. Whales in the bay performing for us. Watching the ship plow through ice pack, Leopard seals in action. Some of the lectures were absolutely terrific.

We saw 1,000's of penguins and the landscapes and peaks were wonderful. Lots of seals and whales. The people we traveled with were friendly and from several countries. The iceburgs shapes and colors were amazing. Crossing the drake passage was not plesant with rough water.

Peguines, Icebergs. Amazing landscape unlike any part of the world. Love the wildlife seeing there. Nice cabin mates and cruishipmates. No surprises. Crossing the Antarctic circle.
